About the Author This is Shruti’s third book. She started writing at an early age and brought out her fisrt book at the age of 10. The author now lives in Pune and is a class VII student at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Southern Command, Pune, India. Books and stories are not read just once; she reads and rereads them and savours the words and nuances thoroughly. She started writing stories when she was six years old, first on paper and now on the laptop. She spends at least an hour, everyday, typing stories, unless she is suffering from “”the writer’s block””. She has excelled, having secured a High Distinction ( being in top 1% of students in her class) in the IAIS (International Assessment for Indian Schools) and being the school topper and ranked 41st internationally in the International English Olympiad conducted by SOF(Science Olympiad Foundation). She was recognized as a “”Young Achiever of 2011″” during the Annual Day Celebrations held in her school, Hindu Senior Secondary School, Indira Nagar, Chennai. Her other interests include learning ballet, watching movies, listening to film songs, playing the keyboard and doodling pictures (some for her stories and books). In fact, the cover page of this volume, like her other volumes, shows her artwork. 358p/Paperback/8.27×5.83″”
