The Tusker’s Tears

Gajendran is the spirit of an elephant that died fighting a crocodile in a lake. The story of how it became an elephant and why it had to fight that crocodile is narrated in the twenty-sixth chapter of the Narayaneeyam. The Tusker’s Tears explores what happens to Gajendran after its death in that lake. Here Gajendran learns about God and the purpose of life on earth.
