Homecoming, Indian style is a true account of an Indian woman's return to India after many years of living in England. She describes the overwhelming difficulties encountered while trying to settle back into life in Delhi, in particular, the gender bias, status consciousness and red tape involved. There is a light-hearted side too where she commits blunders due to ignorance about how things work and learns that even the basic necessities of life don't come easily.
