Dr. Sreelatha Chakravarty writes–poetry, short fiction, novels and rarely medical prescription. Her debut novel- “An Eternal Romantic” (LEADSTART publishers) published under the pen name Sreelatha is in the markets and was long-listed for Crossword book award; her short story “An Illicit Thought” found admission in an anthology titled “Shades Of Sin” (APK publishers); her poem “Hope” is trying to connect to young minds in classrooms through a curriculum book. A set of three of her poems was published in an anthology- “The Dance of the Peacock” (Hidden brook press) and in another anthology titled “Suvarna-rekha” by Poetry society of India. Currently, she is editing her second novel, polishing and perfecting her individual collection of poems while awaiting publication of a set of fifteen poems in an anthology titled “A strange place other then ear-lobes”. Her short story, “Agni” was published in an anthology titled “Carnival”(Litizen publishers).
This set is about spying on Taj Mahal (the eternal symbol of love ) in moonlight with filters of logic in place. Symbolic death in love is crafted in verses to make the spirits come alive and dance the Tango.
